Professor Monique Skidmore is Pro Vice-Chancellor International and Major Projects at the University of Canberra. Before that Professor Skidmore was Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design and is an adjunct professor at the Australian National University.
Professor Skidmore has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Bachelor of Science from the Australian National University and a Master’s degree and PhD in medical anthropology from McGill University in Canada.
She taught medical anthropology at McGill University and a variety of subjects as a lecturer at the University of Melbourne. Professor Skidmore was also a Rockefeller Visiting Fellow at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, and a post-doctoral fellow and Associate Dean in the College of Arts and Social Sciences at the Australian National University.
An internationally renowned expert on Burma, Professor Skidmore has authored several books on the country and frequently comments on Burmese issues in the national and international media.

Professor Dean Forbes is Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International & Communities) and Vice-President at Flinders University. He is on the Board of Directors of Education Adelaide, and is Chair of its Audit Committee, and he Chairs the Board of the Community for Global Communication Inc, which operates as the Intensive English Language Institute. He is past chair of both the Universities Australia Deputy Vice-Chancellors (International) Committee and the Innovative Research Universities Australia International Committee.

Professor Val Clulow joined the College of Business, at RMIT University in October 2011, as Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor, Learning and Teaching.
Professor Clulow has previously held a number of senior management positions within business faculties at Australian universities. Her most recent leadership role was Professor and Head, School of Business and Economics, Monash University, Gippsland/Campus Director Global Engagement.
Prior to her academic career, Professor Clulow had extensive industry experience in retail management training and consultancy.
Professor Clulow holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne and has published widely across three areas – business education, marketing and business strategy and undertaken several industry/government consultancies. She has supervised staff and research students extensively to PhD completion, co-authored and received special commendation for developing research capacity.
In addition, Professor Clulow has extensive experience in international education and success with developing sustainable offshore partnerships.

Peter Speldewinde is the Assistant Secretary of the Labour Market Branch at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, where he has policy responsibility for the Skilled Migration program. In this role he has been responsible for successfully managing the policy development and implementation of arguably the largest suite of changes to Australia’s temporary and permanent skilled migration program. These reforms, which will ensure that Skilled migration remains responsive to the evolving needs of the Australian economy, include the 1 September 2007 reforms to General Skilled Migration, commencement of the Worker Protection Act and associated Subclass 457 reforms; review of the occupation lists for skilled migration; development and introduction of State Migration Plans; and
design and implementation of Australia’s new Points Test.
Peter has previously worked for the Treasury and the Department of Finance and has spent a number of years on posting in the UK and the Middle East.
